You are about to start your criminal background check/background check. You will be required to provide Government issued ID to validate your identity. You consent that you are 18 years of age, and YOU ARE CONSENTING FOR US TO SEARCH THE RCMP NATIONAL REPOSITORY OF CRIMINAL RECORDS based on your date of birth (DOB), you must declare criminal record history, provided by you. It is understood by you that this is verification of the National Repository of Criminal Records, and this is not confirming you by fingerprint comparison, which will confirm if a criminal record does or does not exist in the National Repository of Criminal Records.

What to expect:

1. Complete your standard criminal check application!
2. Upload two pieces of government issued ID and a selfie:
   • Primary ID with a photo.
   • Secondary ID with your Date of Birth.
   • A selfie taken by you, using your cellphone.
   • NOTE : All International IDs are also accepted, in English only.
3. Hit submit and our Verification Officers will review and submit your application to the Police for processing and the RCMP will issue your results.
4. Results will be emailed to you in pdf format. Always check your junk and spam folders.

Don’t worry! If your IDs and selfie aren’t received, we will contact you to ensure timely processing of your application.
